Happy Sunday everyone! It’s a lovely day here in Tennessee! Hopefully it’s not too bad wherever you are.
Once again I’ve had a day packed with food, fitness, faith, and fun. Perfect Sunday Funday for me!
My day started at church as most Sundays do for me these days. Trying to rebuild my faith and my relationship with the church is a big priority for me but it’s also something that is taking time and effort. Still, I appreciate the ability to go and learn and continue to grow. I know the church is a group of imperfect people and God loves and uses imperfect people, but sometimes I feel a little too imperfect to be there. Luckily, God is working on my heart there and reminding me I’m worth loving and He will provide.
After church I treated myself to a lunch at Tropical Smoothie Cafe which came with enough green smoothie goodness (kale, spinach, mango, banana, pineapple, splenda) to last me all day.
Seriously, half at lunch and half later for dinner. That place has huuuuuge smoothies!
I normally cook and clean on Sundays but today I decided to forgo the cooking part since my last two weeks of food prep have me with a ton of leftovers for this last week in January. I think I’ll hit up Costco to add a bit of fresh salad mix to each meal and call it a week with leftovers! It’s always fun to have an easy day.
Easy day = fun day!
The 100 day workout streak continues: I completed my 7th day yesterday! Later today I’ll be doing Day 8… not sure what workout I’ll try yet. Any suggestions? I’m thinking a body weight circuit at home and a walk. It’s easier for me to hit the gym after workdays so I’ll keep it at home today.
Earlier today I was looking back at my posts for the week and I’m pretty happy with my consistency in blogging once again! I feel like it keeps me more focused on living a better, more balance life. Thanks for being part of it y’all! If you missed anything here’s what went down:
- Dry Roasted Edamame Review
- Victory, battle, & other words I don’t like using regarding health.
- Chia seeds: everything you need to know.
- The randomness of a cold Friday Five.
- My start of the 100 day workout streak!
- Weekly Meal Plan
It’s been a great week and I’m excited to end it with another workout and some relaxation tonight. Hopefully you have something similar or even more fun planned! Have a great Sunday! :)
