This morning I woke up feeling quite amazing. I woke up and got right into my normal routine. I even went a step further and made myself a healthy smoothie to go for breakfast.
It wasn’t the best smoothie I’ve ever made but it was packed with nutrients and that is what my body needed. Mmm, kale, fruit, and protein!
Another great thing? I see the sun! I know a lot of people live without seeing the sun for long stretches at a time but I’m not one of them. I need sunshine. It’s been almost a week of gray days and snow around here and I’m sick of it. I need some sunshine and Vitamin D. Come out and play Sun!
I’m planning on hitting the gym after work to enjoy my 30 minutes of cardio. Unfortunately it will be the restart of my workout streak. Last week I missed two days because I had a kidney stone bouncing around in my body and I couldn’t do much besides be in pain. Funny how that works! Luckily though, my friend Candace will be joining me as she is finally over her cold. We will both have fingers crossed for no new ailments!
All in all things seem to be shaping up for a terrific Tuesday. Hopefully your day is going swell as well! ;)

When you do cardio, do you use interval training? Just curious – seems to be the new trend and is supposed to be a fat burning routine.

Sometimes! It depends on the day, sometimes I just do steady and sometimes I do intervals. I also want to start doing some cardio classes but haven’t figured out my gym’s schedule to work with mine yet.
