The Ebook Is HERE!!!!!

April 6, 2010 by Mary

This post may contain affiliate links. Please read my disclosure for details.

I’ve finished the health blogging ebook! OMG! It’s done! It’s ready! It’s out there!!  This has been several months in the making and I’m so excited to finally be celebrating the release of my first ebook! Woohoo!

I’m really hoping you all enjoy it. I know I’ve pushed back the date for release so many times and I’m sorry. Life has been kinda crazy for me lately, so I hope you understand. I wanted to do this thing the right way and for that reason it has taken a little bit longer than I expected. I’m glad I didn’t rush it or make it less than it could be.

I’m so very excited about this ebook because I think it will be helpful for a lot of health bloggers. It compiles all the information you want and need to know in one place. It address all aspects of blogging from starting your blog, to blogging better, to growing traffic, to making money from blogging.  It explains SEO clearly and explains how to make it work for your blog. After leaving Fitbloggin and realizing some people were still confused by SEO I knew that this ebook needed to exist.  And now it does.

The price of the ebook is something I waffled on but eventually I decided to price it a little higher than I first imagined. This happened for many reasons. Since there is no other ebook like this in our niche I wasn’t sure what to charge. I looked at somewhat comparable ebooks in other niches and realized my original pricing idea was very low. The ebook is full of useful information on all things blogging and will save you time and help you make money.  I realized that it might be at a price point that eliminates some people and that’s okay. Not everyone wants or needs to spend the money to learn how to improve their blog.

Here’s the main thing… I’m trying to do this thing where I don’t undervalue what I do or who I am. I’m off trying for once not to blow it off like I didn’t work on it at all. I remember in college when I would work on a paper twice as long as most of my classmates to get it perfect, but then act like I wrote it the night before. (Ok, sometimes I did write them the night before.) For some reason I’ve always tried to put down my work so that if someone didn’t like it I could fall back on the “I didn’t put in much effort” defense. But I don’t want to do that anymore. I want to say that I worked hard and that my hard work has created something good. For once I am not undervaluing my work and with the pricing I’m asking you not to either.

Besides, it’s good. It’s really good. I did put a lot of work into this ebook and I am damn proud of it. I worked with other top health bloggers, I researched, I put in a ton of information to help you make your blog better. I think it’s worth the money. If I could have bought something like this two years ago when I first started I would have saved myself a lot of time teaching myself about blogging and SEO. It would have been worth it to spend $27 up front instead of countless hours of my time. I’ve created something that I wanted before and something I think will help other people. It’s worth the money. And for that reason I am very proud of both the ebook and myself.

I do hope you want to buy the ebook.  You can purchase it now or go read more about it on it’s own page.  If you have any questions please feel free to leave me a comment or send me an email. I’ll be hanging around the blog and on twitter for most of the day so I’ll be available for any problems (ah, please no?) or questions. :)

Go check out the guide page for more info or trust me and buy it now.

Oh and ps – for all my loyal every day awesome friends and readers … the proceeds from the ebook are creating my currently empty moving to New Zealand fund/paying my massive hospital bills. If you have wanted to donate or help with this, I’m offering you a 65 page ebook in return for your help. I love you all!

I very much want this Ebook but I’ll have to wait a bit before I purchase it- moving into my condo means that finances are super tight this month!

This is awesome! I currently can’t buy it until I sell more stuff on eBay BUT it will happen sooner or later! Can I get your signature in July?

By the way, I’ll bring you ONE brownie in July so you won’t be tempted by the whole pan. AND, I like that you threw it away. I throw my utensils out or attempt to sabotage myself if I find that I can’t restrain from eating things. It’s been better this time around but I used to pour ketchup, mustard, anything you could find, on foods that I can’t keep my hands off of so that they’d be less appealing.

If you don’t wanna eat it, trash it!

Haha! I’ll totally sign something for you. ;P

I totally understand the ebay stuff. That’s about 50% of what I am doing currently. Fun times for income (not really).

I’ve done that with ketchup. And with hot sauce too. Anything to stop me from eating 5000 calories at once. And I’m super excited about that ONE brownie you are going to bring me! YUM!

  12. Angie (Losing It and Loving It) says

    April 6, 2010 at 4:11 pm

Would this ebook be beneficial to more advanced bloggers? As someone who already knows SEO and how to monetize websites and blogs well, would you recommend that I purchase your ebook? I could definitely use tips on how to get more traffic and therefore more comments and and interaction on my healthy living related blog so I was just wondering.

    • Mary says

      April 6, 2010 at 4:20 pm

I would if there is a section that you feel like you could work on. It focuses on everything so if you have a weakness that could be improved on that could help. It’s got large sections about actually writing a better blog and using social stuff for traffic. I know a few people that bought it got it for those sections as opposed to the majority who are confused by the technical things like SEO. If you get it and hate it let me know and I’ll refund your money. :)

  13. Angie (Losing It and Loving It) says

    April 6, 2010 at 5:12 pm

Thank you for your feedback! You’re funny…I know I won’t hate it and would never think to ask for a refund since it’s clearly stated what it’s all about. I think the sections on writing a better blog and social stuff will be great for me.

Do you have an affiliate program for the book?

Haha. I just want people to know that even though I’m charging I’m not trying to trick or scam them in any way. ;)

I currently don’t but I probably will within a month or so. It’s one of those details I just didn’t get around to doing yet since the last few weeks have been crazy for me. ;) For now I’m going to take a bit of a break!

That’s so awesome congratulations!! I will plan on buying it and prob ill write a review of it on my blog if i like it. I don’t write a health blog but I definitely need to learn how to get people to actually come read it, and my roomie also needs help on his blog so it’ll be useful. I probably should wait a week ish or so before I actually buy it but its not going anywhere. Yay mary!

That’s great merri! A lot of the stuff in the ebook is general to all blogs, so even though you don’t write a health blog you can interpet the info for yourself. Yeah, it’s not going anywhere! Ebook is here to stay!

      Thanks!

I am a very new blogger but not sure if I want to really make money off of my blog or where I want it to go. I am really doing this for me. Do you think it would be benetifial for me anyway?

    • Mary says

      April 6, 2010 at 10:24 pm

I think so. The focus isn’t about making money, even though there is a section about there. I explain how to make money and all but the focus is mostly about better blogging – how to write better posts, how to create a community around your blog, how to get more people there. It’s great for figuring out traffic stuff, which doesn’t have to be tied to money. My favorite tip in the whole ebook is blog for yourself. So yes I think it would be beneficial. Buy it and if you hate it just let me know and I’ll refund your money. ;)
