Thanks for all the support on the social media sabbatical! I miss talking to lots of people already but I also have noticed I have way more time on my hands and I’m more productive at work. Looks like taking a break is the right choice.
Another thing is I have lots of random thoughts that have no outlet now. Maybe that’s what this blog is for? Yes? Alright. Here we go…
This morning my workout made my legs shake. I’m sitting at my work desk now and my legs are still shaking a tiny bit. It’s hilarious.
Yesterday, I made two new friends.
Last night I finally moved on to eating a different dinner, but I’ve eaten this salad three days in a row…
Apparently it’s my favorite. Just salad, corn chips, chicken, and black bean & corn salsa. YUM.
I started tracking my food again this week. I’ve been feeling so out of control lately because of my life circumstances, but I can definitely control my food. I want to start doing that. DailyBurn to the calorie counting rescue? I’m not the best at calorie counting but maybe with all my extra time from not doing social media can be used to track my food. :)
Oh, see how much you are missing with me not on social media? It’s a lot. It’s a whole lot.
Have a great Tuesday!!

We also had two receptions – one for family and one for friends. Our family members were/are stick-in-the-mud, offended by the site of alcohol types…and our friends? Decidedly different. Let’s just say that the friend reception required quite a few designated drivers.
The planning may seem like a pain in the butt now, but it will be worth it in the end. Just you see. :)
Good luck!

That’s a good idea. One per country is enough for me. :)

What a great yard and adorable lil furry hosts/hostesses. I did a strength training session that had me so sore yesterday when the Mr was giving me a massage so I could do last night’s workout, it must’ve sounded like murder to the neighbors. There’s nothing like shaking/soreness to let you know you did a GOOD workout!
Sounds like you’ve got just the amount of time you need now to track food! YAY!

That’s such a cute idea! I need you around to give me all these clever idea so people think I’m brilliant. ;)
Also, I miss you on Twitter! Ah! Maybe I should send an e-mail. ;) Love ya!

Why two receptions? I DO like the backyard!!!!!!!
Mary says
Because hardly anyone could come from New Zealand. One reception in the US, one in NZ. It just makes sense when you are an international couple.

OHHHHHHHH

I hope so. I’m anti-girl, anti-bride. I hate the planning. It sucks. Financial limitations and planning for stuff is just depressing instead of fun and best-time-ever. Oh well. Almost over!
