Vegetables Mean It’s A Good Day

May 24, 2012 by Mary

Today’s been a great day my friends!

Vegetables are in abundance today: I ate broccoli at breakfast, a bunch of mixed vegetables at lunch and will have lettuce/peppers/onions with dinner.

Yes vegetables mean it’s a good day.  I’m actually going to hit my vegetable quota for the day, which is a sign that all is going well. Today things are looking great! Usually I avoid veggies and revert to eating like a picky 5 year old when I’m feeling bad. Does anyone else do this?

Also consumed: tons of water.

It’s technically a Greater Memphis Chamber cup but I like the M on it. And the straw makes for easy water drinking!

I’m also planning to go knock out a few rounds of a Nerd Fitness workout after dinner. I’m trying to figure out ways to workout at home despite not liking it and I find his workouts are pretty decent for that purpose.

 So. THINGS ARE GOOD.

I need to end here and get back to work but I have sooo much more to tell you all. Once I get my head screwed on straight I’ll update y’all on everything.

Also…

Bonus photo found when going through my photobooth photos:

JuJu used to be so tiny! AWWW. I miss my furbaby! <3

Great post! I agree with the point you made about the vegetables you ate today! One thing I’ve found to be extremely helpful and useful as a supplement to my current diet/exercise plan is Fullbar (www.fullbar.com). Their gummies and bars help curve my hunger, help me with portion control and keep me from consuming more calories than I really need.

Yes, I resign to picky less-vegetable eating when I’m feeling down, too! But veggies make us feel better, so it’s a vicious cycle. Glad you are feeling better! And awww… what a precious pupper dawg! Cheers~

Vegetables are always good. I usually eat them right before a big meal just to get them in right away and done with. At least 3 servings of fruits and vegetables will help with any weightloss goal. If you’re not looking to lose weight, it’s still a recommended amount to stay fit and healthy!

    Great post!
