Seriously. Auckland is hilly!
I live in the suburbs of Auckland but today we went into the city in search of asthma inhalers, snow gear, and jobs. We drove in this morning and I ended up walking 3 miles in between all the errands we had. Since we don’t go into the city often it’s easier to group errands together even if it means walking a mile uphill to get to various location.
On the bright side… that was a workout!
It was really fun though despite the drizzly rain that fell on us. I’m not sure of the time but I walked a tiny bit over 3 miles with everything included according to Map My Run (er, walk).
I really want to get in the gym and hit the weights but I don’t want sore muscles so I’m saving it for next week. Tomorrow we head south to go snowboarding for the weekend which is going to be AWESOME. Then next week, I’m in the gym with my beloved weights.
I probably won’t post again until I’m back in town. This weekend is going to be so much fun! Snowboarding in New Zealand means I get to cross another item off my NZ bucket list and life list. Yay!
Have a lovely weekend my friends! I’ll carve down a few mountains for ya. :)
wow.
Im kinda jealous of your journey!
3 miles while running errands?! Talk about productive! Way to go!
SO jealous of you for having the opportunity to go snowboarding in New Zealand! Holy cow! That is awesome. I will literally be on the exact opposite side of the world pouting in envy! lol.
And snowboarding is a good enough workout so you’re all set! :) Have fun!!
Looks pretty awesome! If a little rainy. Its a little rainy here, too. Have fun snowboarding!
I love walking when doing errands! Good job!
