Since I was sick I’ve been incredibly off with eating and exercise. I don’t know why it was so hard to get back into the swing of things but I’m determined to do so this week.
I’m part of a little motivational Facebook group with other bloggers and ladies trying to get healthy. This week there is a weekly goal for the group: Exercise at least 30 minutes for 5 our of 7 days.
I decided to join in and make this happen. Today was day 1 and I’ve already got 1 day’s exercise done!
After work I took my exercise buddy out for a 30 minute walk & run.
Definitely more walk than run today. It’s been so long since I did a hardcore workout, I’m officially out of shape. The running part of our workout was just a quarter mile. Gross!
I’m going to commit to nightly walks with my little friend JuJu since it’s now light enough when I get home to go for a walk. I ordered her a new backpack harness (coming soon) so she will get to carry some weight to tire her out faster too. Win/win for both of us.
Post run/walk I was feeling good and looking messy.
So my goal this week is 5 days of 30 minutes of exercise. Off to a good start already! I’ll recap on Sunday with my full week of exercise. I’m ridiculously excited!
What are you doing this week for exercise?
YAY! If Juju is with you your couches will stay in one piece ;)
I LOVE your exercise buddy’s FACE!!!!!!
I’m totally into spinning and pilates on the reformer lately.
WooHoo to starting the week off right!!!
Fun that you have a support group through Facebook.
Oh, Junju! That pup of yours is adorable. Love the photos of you too. Have a great week Mary.
Sorry…typo. JUJU!!!! Not sure where the “n” above came from. :)
Great goal! And it looks like you are off to a great start! You have a very cute workout buddy too! Have a great week.

Juju is so big now! That’s cute that she gets weights to help her exercise too! I wish I could take my Loki cat on walks because he gets way too much energy just pent up in my apartment all the time. he goes on running jags where he whips around literally climbing the walls. His biggest exercise is playing fetch or jumping. My fav exercise lately is Piyo Strength, pilates, yoga and pilometrics all in one, it’s strength and cardio and very hard but I feel great after! That and CXworx, which is stretch band functional core training.
